William (Billy) Lacey
October 11, 2024

We offer our condolences to the family of William (Billy) Lacey (Fitzgerald Park, Mounttown and formerly of Cross Avenue, Dun Laoghaire,) who passed away peacefully on October 11th 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. William (Billy); dearly beloved husband of the late Marie, father of the late Alan and brother of the late Eddie, Maureen and more recently Hiker. Sadly missed by his loving children Billy, Bernie, Michael, Kieran, Paul and Stephen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.  May he rest in peace.

Thomas (Tommy/Hiker) Lacey

We extend our condolences to the family of Tommy Lacey (Cross Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully at home on September 26th 2024 surrounded by his family.  Thomas (Tommy/Hiker); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Marie, much loved and devoted father of Keith and Elaine. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brother Billy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Alice O'Brien (née McDonald)
September 18, 2024

We offer our condolences to the family of  Alice O’Brien (née McDonald) (Shankill and formerly of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – who passed away peacefully on September 18th 2024  surrounded by her family while in the wonderful kind care of the staff at Beechfield Manor Nursing Home, Shankill. Alice; dearly beloved wife of Johnny, much loved and devoted mother of John. She will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, son, daughter-in-law Gráinne, grandchildren Caoimhe, Ailish and Seán, brother Tony, sister Philomena, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.  May she rest in peace.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated her in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown at 10 am on Monday 23rd September and her cremation service will be immediately afterwards in St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within the Patrick O’Donovan Funeral Home  at 11.45 am. Mary Donegan (née Haskins)
September 14, 2024

Mary Donegan (née Haskins) (St. Mary’s Street, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and formerly of St. Patrick’s Crescent, Monkstown) – September 14th 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff in I.C.U. at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Mary; dearly beloved wife of the late Eamon, much loved and devoted mother of Kieran, Dermot and Mary. She will be very sadly missed by her loving daughter, sons, son-in-law Joe her adoring grandchildren Ethan, Eva and Kate, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace

Joanne Sheehan

We extend our condolences to the family of Joanne Sheehan (Blackrock and formerly Mervyn, The Hill, Monkstown, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully on 12th September 2024 (Her mother’s birthday). in the wonderful care of the staff at the Blackrock Hospice. Daughter of the late Cornelius and Maureen and loving sister of Robert, John, Mary-Rose, Jane and the late Michael. She will be fondly missed by her brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law Vera and Mary, nieces and nephews Jessica (and Jack), Julia, Jane (and Tom), Josh, Jilly, Alice, Anna, Geoffrey and Con, grand nephews and nieces Edward, Lily, Henry, Bonnie and Sam, extended family, relatives and a very wide and loyal circle of beloved friends. Requiesat in Pace.

Joanne’s Funeral Mass will be on Monday 16th  September at 10 am here in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
