We extend our condolences to the family of John Bourke, (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and Ballina, Co. Mayo) who passed away on Friday 11th July 2025. Beloved husband of Kathleen and devoted father of Cliodhna, Maeve and Deirdre. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sisters Marion and Anne, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brother David. May John rest in peace.
John’s Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Tuesday (July 15th) here in the Church of St. Patrick, Monkstown followed by private cremation. No flowers please. Donations if desired, to Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Royden (Roy) Bedell

We extend our condolences to the family of Royden (Roy) Bedell, who passed waway peacefully on 9th July 2025, surrounded by family and in the kind care of the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Colette (Farmer), and much-loved father of Cris, Kate and Nina. Cherished grandfather of Carol, Leanne, Suzanne, Sabrina, Jennifer, Sharon, Annaliese and Daniel and his many great-grandchildren. Deeply missed by Colette’s children Orla, Catherine and Dónall and their children, all of whom held him in great affection. Now at peace, sailing on calm waters’

We extend our condolences to the family of Jean Murray (née Webb) Jean (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully on 15th June 2025, in the care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Austin and adored mother of Conor, Eoin, Deirdre, Brian, Gráinne, Oisín and the late Francis. She will be sadly missed by her children, their partners Kumilachew, Vincent and Veronica, grandchildren Saibh, Tadhg, Aisling, Ben, Yeva and Daniil, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would also like to say thank you to the staff at Brabazon House. May she rest in peace.

Moyra Kinlay (née Maguire)

We extend our condolences to the family of Moyra Kinlay (née Maguire) , (Blackrock, County Dublin) wo passed peacefully on June 13th 2025, in the exceptional care of St Michaels Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, surrounded by her loving family. At 91 years, a life lived to the fullest. Youngest child of Phil and Martin Maguire, pre deceased by her adored elder brothers John, Cyril, Willie and Walter Maguire. Mourned by her devoted daughters Barbara Browne, Sandra Newell, Moyra Heavey and Ola Caravousanos and their husbands David, Derek and Tony. Treasured grandmother of Jennifer, Charlie and Harry, their spouses Chris, Krista and Vanessa, Sarah, Keith, Thomas, Ria, David, her great grandchildren, David and Mollie, sister-in-law Mary, her wonderful nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, her special Saturday afternoon friends and a wide circle of other friends from her interests in bridge, art and book clubs as well as her old school friends.
Rest in Peace Moyra, one of a kind. A wonderful life filled with lasting memories.
