We extend our condolences to the family of Helena Fuller (Nee Stritch) who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on 18th September 2023, dearest daughter of Josephine and the late Martin, beloved wife of Padraig and adored mother of Jake, Harry, Saoirse and Rory. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Mary (McGee) and Alice (Egan), brothers Richard, Martin and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, father-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Funeral arriving here in St. Patrick’s Church, on Wednesday morning (20th September) at 11:30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Helena will be celebrated at 12 noon (streamed on www.monkstownparish.ie/). A Memorial Mass will take place for Helena in St. Mary’s Church, Kilflynn, Co. Kerry (V92 XW18) on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment afterwards in The Old Cemetery, Kilflynn.

Derek Law

We extend our condolences to the family of Derek Law (Cabinteely, D18 and formerly of Monkstown, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully on 27th August surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff of the I.C.U. at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Derek (late of X-IT Finglas); dearly beloved husband and soul mate of Finnuala, much loved father of Kenneth, Ian and Victor. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and partners Roísín, Shauna and Sehar, granddaughter Kaia, brothers-in-law John and Paddy, sisters-in-law Sarah and Angela, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Derek’s funeral mass will take place here in St. Patrick’s on Thursday (August 31st) at 10am followed thereafter with cremation in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W arriving for 12 noon committal service. CARTY, Jane – Monkstown, Co. Dubin. Late of RTE Music Department and Fellow of RIAM. Peacefully on 2nd August 2023 at Ashford House Nursing Home, Dun Laoghaire, at 87 years of age. Predeceased by her loving husband Wil Keune (Maastricht, The Netherlands). Sadly missed by her brothers Ciaran and Francis Xavier, sister- in -law Julia Alonso Beazcochea, nephews Francis James, Antonio and Jack, niece Estefania and her husband Raymond, grandnieces Ana, Emma and Rachel. She helped young people fall in love – with music!
Funeral Mass at 10am on Friday, 11th August, here in St. Patrick’s Church, Carrickbrennan Road, Monkstown followed thereafter by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.
