Catherine (Kathleen) Hanlon (née Byrne)
May 21, 2022

We extend our condolences to the family of Catherine (Kathleen) Hanlon (née Byrne) (Fitzgerald Park, Mounttown, Dun Laoghaire and formerly of Brookfield Terrace, Blackrock, Co. Dublin)  who passed away peacefully on May 21st 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Catherine (Kathleen); wife of the late Paddy, cherished mother of Michelle, Sandra, Christine, Sharon, Louise, Caroline and Cathy. Sadly missed by her loving and devoted children, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters Billy, Michael, Mark, Thomas, Annie and Maureen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace.

MOYNA TRODDYN (née Duffy)
May 17, 2022

We extend our condolences to the family of Moyna Troddyn (née Duffy) who died on  17th May 2022. Widow of dearly loved Donald (Trod) and his first wife Carmel. Sadly missed by her sisters Lucie and Pat (Fitzgerald), her niece Laura and husband Paul, Alex and his wife Roanet and Cornelius and his wife Natalie together with 5 grand nieces and 1 grand nephew. Not forgetting her ‘children’ by a step! Dymphna and husband Alan, Ingrid and husband James, Siobhan (Shoo) and Oisin together with 9 wonderful grandchildren – by a step! And 12 great grandchildren – by another step!

Rufina Hecksher (née Okpu)

We extend our sympathy to the family of Rufina Hecksher (née Okpu) who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on 7th May, in the kind care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Percy John and devoted mother to Percy, Rodney and the late Honeybelle and Jason John. She will be very sadly missed by her sons, daughter-in-law Violet, her cherished grandchildren Thalius, Julian, Fiona, Tara, Jason and Kelvin, great-grandchildren Athena, Ellysia, Jasmine, Saphira and Viola, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a wide circle of friends. May Rufina rest in peace.

Máire Pollock
April 25, 2022

We extend our condolences to the family of Máire Pollock (née O’Reilly)  who died peacefully on 25th April 2022.  Beloved wife of John and loving mother of John, Nicholas, Hugh and David; sister of the late Barbara.    Máire will be sadly missed by her husband, sons, brother Myles O’Reilly (SJ), grandson Tadgh Tan Thai, daughter-in-law Vikki, niece Aoife, brother-in-law Simon, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

We extend our condolences to the family of Mary Scannell (née Coady) (Sister of Fr Michael Coady)  who passed away peacefully on April 22,2022, surrounded by her devoted family in the kind care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Dearly beloved wife of the late David and loving mother to Louise, Edward and Paul. Mary will be very sadly missed by her daughter, sons, brothers Fr. Michael and John, son-in-law Heath, her cherished grandchildren Tess, Charlotte, Colin, Maeve, Caden and Darragh, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.  May she rest in peace.

Maura O'Sullivan (née Fleming)
April 20, 2022

We extend our condolences to the family of Maura O’Sullivan (née Fleming of Tullamore and Foxrock, Co. Dublin, previously of the Elphin Hotel, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire and recently Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary).  Maura passed away peacefully on  April 20, 2022, after a short illness, in the gentle care of her family and staff at Altadore.

Deeply beloved wife of the late Bert O’Sullivan, loving mother of Fiona and John, loving sister of Laura (McGovern). Very deeply regretted by her loving family, son-in-law Andrew, her three grandchildren and lights of her life, Jessica, Patrick and Evan, precious nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Remembering also her much loved late brother Ambrose and sister Nuala, never forgotten.May she rest in peace after a long life. Her funeral mass will take place here in St. Patrick’s on Monday 25th April @ 10 am, followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery.

 


Leslie O'Brien (Hickey)

We extend our condolences to the family of Leslie O’Brien (Hickey) (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly Corbally, Limerick) who died peacefully, after a short illness on 17th April. Dearly beloved wife of Lawrence and devoted Mum to Samuel. Leslie will be very sadly missed by her husband, son, her Mum and Dad Patsy and Joe, sisters Alison, Jennifer and Grace, niece Nicole, parents-in-law Pat and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Elizabeth (Liz) Williams

We extend our condolences to the family of Elizabeth (Liz) Williams(Formerly of Woodlands Avenue, Cabinteely)  who died suddenly at home on 13th April. Dearly beloved daughter of the late Una, devoted partner of the late Gerard Kane, step Mum of the late Amy Kane. Sadly missed by her loving sons Garrett and Johnaton, step-sons Rhys, Ger, Luke and Daniel, (step-grandchildren, extended family and friends.  May she rest in peace.

Christy Ingle

We extend our condolences to the family of Christy Ingle (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and formerly of Bath Avenue, D4) who passed away peacefully on April 6th 2022 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park.  Ddearly beloved husband of the recently deceased Betty, much loved father of Marcella, Derek, Sandra, John-Barry, Cedric and the late Marcus; sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, neighbours and his beloved dog Hope.  May he rest in peace.
