John (David) McClelland
March 20, 2025

We extend our condolences to the family of John (David) McClelland John (David), (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Omagh, Co. Tyrone) who passed away peacefully at home, in the devoted and loving care of Fiona and his carer Yolly on March 20th 2025. Beloved husband of the late Frances and loving Dad to David, Patrick, Barry and Fiona; also adored grandfather to Gregory, Stephanie, Bonnie, Harvey, Kelsie and great-grandson Jesse. Sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Paula and Richelle, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, Fiona’s partner Tómas and Patrick’s partner Anna, extended family, friends and neighbours.  May he rest in peace

David will be reposing on Monday afternoon 24th March from 4-6pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94XK28. His Funeral Mass is on Tuesday 25th March at 10am here in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road. Joseph (Joe) Gallagher
March 4, 2025

We extend our condolences to the family of Joseph (Joe) Gallagher who passed awar acefully, in Newtownpark House Nursing Home, on 4th March,  surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Maureen, predeceased by sisters May and Helen. Devoted father of Brendan, Vincent and Fiona. He will be sadly missed by his children, son-in-law Micheal, daughters-in-law Katherine and Ewa, grandchildren Stephen, Aoife, Cathal, Eibhlín, Stefan, Lisa, David and Conor, great-grandchildren Ríain, Caiden, Lily, Jack and Charlie, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.  May He rest in peace

The family would like to express their profound gratitude to all carers who looked after Joe at home and to the caring and dedicated staff in Newtownpark House.

Joe will be reposing on Thursday (6th March) in Fanagans (Carnegies) Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28) from 5pm to 7pm. His Funeral Mass is on  Friday (7th March) at 10am here in the Church of St. Patrick, Monkstown  followed thereafter by cremation committal prayers in Mount Jerome Crematorium(D6W HY98). Margaret Walshe (O'Connor)
March 1, 2025

We extend our condolences to the family of  Margaret Walshe (O’Connor) PhD, FTCD and Professor, Trinity College Dublin, Glenageary, Co. Dublin and late of Ballysally House, Ballyagran, Co Limerick, whose death occurred on March 1st 2025, In the tender and loving care of all at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. Predeceased by parents Eilish (2023) and Patrick (2010). Best friend and loving wife of John O Connor . Adoring and much loved mother of Ciara and Louise and their fiancés Morgan and Tim. Very deeply regretted by her loving sisters Caroline (Tighe), Geraldine, Eda (Brennan) , and her beloved brother Bernard. Sadly missed by her brothers in law Jim, Niall and Brendan, sister in law Helen, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours, many close friends at home and abroad, and her work colleagues in TCD and SVPH.  May Margaret Rest in Peace

Ivy Patricia Moran
February 28, 2025

We extend our condolences to the family of Ivy Patricia Moran (née Dwyer) (Fitzgerald Park, Mounttown, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin); 12/03/1948 – 28/02/2025, who died peacefully at her home after a short illness, beloved wife of the late Christy (The Fonz). She will be sadly missed by her children Kavina, Mosey, Christy, Lisa and Noely, daughters-in-law Gerri and Claire, sons-in-law Dave and Gary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother Anthony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  May she rest in peace.

Andrea O'Connor
February 24, 2025

We express our condolences to the family of Andrea O’Connor (Roundwood, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Ashgrove, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully on Feb 24th 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice. Andrea; dearly beloved daughter of the late Loretta and Paddy, much loved and devoted mother of Evan and Erin, cherished sister of Paddy, Jacqueline, Karan, Devena, Alan, Brian, Ronan and the late Noelie. She will be very sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, also their father Mark, Evan’s partner Kayleigh, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law Gillian, Yvonne, Susan and Roísín, brother-in-law Mick, Jacqueline’s partner Stikey, aunt Olivia, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends especially Nicola. May she rest in peace.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated here in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown on Friday 28th arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Helen Collins (née Kennedy)

We extend our condolences to the family of Helen Collins (née Kennedy) who passed away peacefully on 20th February, in her 101st year, with her family by her side in the kind care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Jackie and adored mother of Geraldine (McAlinden), Paula (Hickey), Fr. Michael and the late David. She will be greatly missed by sons-in-law Cormac and Derek, her cherished grandchildren Gail, Andrew, Alix, Stephanie and Christian, great-grandchildren James, Marcus, Benvon, Aifric, Maxime, Jonah and Wren and a wide circle of friends.  May she rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Garrett (Garry) Fleming – Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, February 7th 2025. Peacefully in the tender care of the Blackrock Hospice after a long illness borne with immense courage and dignity. Pre-deceased by his wife Claire. Beloved husband of Barbara and loving Dad/Stepdad to Lucy, Jeremy, Clara and Faye. He will be hugely missed by his brother Canice, his precious sister Darina and his three grandchildren Thea, Rossa and Noah, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Tanya, brothers-in-law Martin, Denis, Paul, Michael and Robin and sisters-in-law Elizabeth, Mary, Noreen, Suzanne and Sinead, nephews, extended family including Sally, and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. May our beloved Garry rest in peace.
