Aidan Barry
March 3, 2024

We extend our condolences to the family of Aidan Barry who passed away peacefully on 3rd March in the kind care of all the staff of St John’s House Nursing Home, Merrion Road.  Aidan, beloved husband of the late Martina, loving father of Tony, Jacinta and Celine. Sadly missed by his children and their partners Paul and Matthew, brother-in-law Eddie, sister-in-law Agnes, his cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Remembering also his late sister Eithne and his wonderful Jazz pals both past and present.  Reposing Thursday (March 7th) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm to 6pm. Removal Friday (March 8th) to St Patrick’s Church, Monkstown arriving for 10am Funeral mass which can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/monkstown followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.


Claire McKenna (née Comerford)

We extend our sympathies to the family of Claire McKenna (née Comerford), (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Doonbeg, Co. Clare). Predeceased by her loving husband Don. Dearly beloved mother of Patrick, Raymond and Lucille. Fondly remembered and missed by her children, grandchildren, Rory, Jack, Ben, Megan, Lauren, son-in-law Adrian, daughters-in- law Lorraine and Michelle, relatives and loyal friends. May she rest in peace

Shirley Cullen (née Egan)

We extend our condolences  to the family of Shirley Cullen (née Egan) (Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow, late of Monkstown and Killiney, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully on February 15th 2024 in the Blackrock Hospice with her family at her side. Shirley, loving mother of Richard, Jenny and Brian. Sadly missed by her children and their father Peter, daughters-in-law Carol and Teri, adored grandchildren Emily, Charlie, Lucia, Jessica, David, Linda and Jenny, her sisters Valerie and Lorraine, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends both in Ireland and USA. Remembering also her late sister Pat and her recently deceased brother-in-law Derry and Godson Roger.

Reposal Monday (February 19th) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. We extend our condolences to the family of Donal O’Neill who passed away peacefully on 2nd of February in the care of the staff of Altadore Retirement and Nursing Home in Glenageary.

Beloved husband of the late Frances and father of Brian and Maria. Deeply regretted by his loving family, grandchildren, brother Jack, sister Phil, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donal will be reposing on Wednesday 7th February from 4pm to 5pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94XK28. Funeral Mass at 10am on Thursday 8th February here in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
