Dr John White

We extend out condolences to the family of Dr John White who passed away peacefully in the care of the staff at Newtownpark Nursing Home on Sunday 25th May. Beloved son of the late Richard and Eva and brother of the late Joy. He will be sadly missed by his nieces Gillian and Hilary, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends. May he Rest in Peace.

His funeral mass will be held here in St. Patrick’s Monkstown on Wednesday 4th June @: 10 am.


Tony Bunbury

We extend out condolences to the family of Tony Bunbury (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully on 16 May, 2025, in the Blackrock Clinic, with his family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Brid, wonderful dad of Helen, Anne, Conor and Kate, adored grandad of Hannah, Oskar, Lilith, Marcus, Alva, Alia and Gwen, sons-in-law Anders and Shafiq and daughter-in law Liz, sisters Eileen and Teresa, many loved nephews and nieces, wider family and many dear friends. May he Rest in peace.

 

Tony’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 21th May at 10am here in St. Patricks Church, Monkstown followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Brendan Cox

We extend our condolences to the family of Brendan Cox  (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) who passed away peacefully on 11th May 2025, in the care of the staff at Glengara Park Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Bernadette, devoted father of Paula, Stephen and Bryan and brother of the late Ann. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Sara and Jackie, grandchildren Conor, Daniel, Luke, Doireann and Laoise, extended family and friends.  May he rest in peace.

Reposing on Tuesday 13th May from 5pm to 7pm in Fanagans (Carnegies) Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Brendan’s Funeral Mass will  be celebrated on Wednesday 14th May at 10am ihere n The Church of St. Patrick, Monkstown followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Don Henihan

We extend our condolences to the family of Don Henihan (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Limerick City) who passed awaypeacefully on 11th May 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness bravely borne, in the care of the staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Much loved husband of the late Margaret and cherished father of Brigid, Martin, Judith, Nicholas and Isobel. Very sadly missed by his children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his fourteen adored grandchildren, two great grandchildren, siblings Sr. Mary, Martin and Kay, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace

We extend our condolences to the family of Gerry Roberts  (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Roslevan, Ennis, Co. Clare.)who passed peacefully on 27th April 2025, in the kind care of the staff at Aclare House Nursing Home, Dun Laoghaire. Beloved husband and best friend of Bríd and loving father of Niamh and David and to the late Barry. Sadly, missed by his wife, daughter, son, adored grandchildren Saorla, Éabha, Ben, Zoe and Emilie, daughter-in-law Nicola, son-in-law Gearóid, sisters Linda, Betty and Louise, extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Frank, Nelly, John, Harry, Kitty, Patsy and baby Christopher.  Suaimhneas síoraí ar a anam uasal.

Dublin and formerly of Richard Barrett & Co. and IAWS) wo passed peacefully at home on 24th of April 2025, with his loving family by his side after a short illness, bravely borne with dignity. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Tom, his brothers Gerard and Noel. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Kathleen (Kathy), Eileen and Marianne, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sister in laws, friends and neighbours.  May he rest in peace

Carmel (Honoria) Davis (née Ryan)

We extend our condolences to the family of Carmel (Honoria) Davis (Blackrock and formerly of Monkstown and Clontarf) who passed away peacefully, in her 93rd year on April 13th, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind care of all the staff in the Fern Dean Nursing Home, Blackrock.  Beloved wife of the late Aidan and loving mother of Tony, Shelley, Conor and John.  Sadly missed by her sons, daughter, son-in-law Brian, daughters-in-law Christine, Susan and Sheena, her adored twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.  May she rest in peace.

Teresa Murphy (née Brock)

We extend our condolences to the family of Teresa Murphy (née Brock) (Abbey Road, Blackrock and formerly of Monkstown, Co. Dublin)  who passed away peacefully on April 12th 2025, in the kind and tender care of the staff at the Blackrock Hospice. Teresa; dearly beloved wife and best friend of Martin and devoted mother to Deborah, Michael, Louise, Gillian, Emma and Julie. She will be very sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, son, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May she Rest In Peace.
