We express our condolences to the family of Mark Boland (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) who passed away sddenly, but peacefully at home on 12th December 2024. Dearly beloved husband of 45 years to Eileen and loving Dad to Alex and the late James and brother-in-law to the late Ken. He will be sadly missed by his wife, son, brother Russell, sisters Denise and Jacqui, brothers-in-law John, Emmett, James, Simon, Brian, Jonathan, David and Simon, sisters-in-law Valerie, Joan, Breda, Christine, Julie, Niamh, Chemaine and Lana, nieces, nephews, godchildren extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Mark will be reposing at his home on Tuesday (17th December) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (18th December) at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. The death has occurred of Josephine Yvonne Ryan of Richmond Park, Monkstown, Dublin. Peacefully, at Dunshaughlin Care Home. Predeceased by her mother Josephine, father Michael, brothers Don and Phil and her sister Agnes. Yvonne will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Jacqueline, Colin, Joanne, Patrice, Philip, Karl and Jason, in-laws, relatives and friends. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

We extend our condolences to the family of Maureen (Mo) Austin (née Cochrane) who died unexpectedly but peacefully, with her family by her side and in her heart, in the care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital on 9th December 2024. Beloved wife of the late David. Will be forever loved and missed by her devoted long term partner John (Milton), daughter Fiona, son John, daughter-in-law Cliodhna (Sharp), cherished grandchildren Jessica, David, Hayley and Troy, and the Milton family – Aleksandr, Steve, Pam, Harry and Zoe, along with Fiona Kuilderd, nieces, nephews and her wider family circle in Ireland and Canada. We extend our condolences to the family of Mervyn Smith (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) who passed away 0n far too young at the age of 56 on 30th November in the Blackrock Clinic. Beloved husband of Georgina and loving father of Ruby, Zoe and Emily. He will be sadly missed by his shocked and devastated wife and his heartbroken daughters, beloved brother Henry, adoring sisters Siobhan, Sharon, Deirdre and Yvonne, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will be re-united with his wonderful parents Gus and Pauline in heaven. The family would like to thank Doctor David Fennelly and the wonderful team at the Blackrock Clinic for the outstanding care Mervyn received. May he rest in peace.
