We exend our condolences to the family of  Gerard (Gerry) McGovern who died peacefully, at home surrounded with his devoted family on 11th April. Sadly missed by his beloved Sara, Max and Jake, sisters, brothers, extended family, relatives and friends. Rest in peace

Sheila Farrell (née Dowling)

We extend our sympathy to the family of Sheila Farrell (née Dowling), who passed away peacefully on 1st April with Alex and Frank by her side and in the kind care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her daughter Fiona (Whelan) husband Ciaran (Toby) son-in-law Paul and brother Finn. Beloved mother of Alex and grandmother of Heather, Mayah, Malachy, Emily and Sam. Sadly missed by her daughter, son-in-law Frank, grandchildren, great-grandchildren Freyja, Fionn, Oisín and Siofra, sister Cora, brother-in-law Des and the McHugh family, sister-in-law Evelyn, the Dowling, Farrell and O’Farrell families and many, many friends.  Rest in Peace

Sheila will be reposing on Thursday 4 th April from 2pm to 4pm  at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown A94 XK28. Funeral Prayer Service on Friday 5 th April at 12pm (Noon) here in St. Partick’s Church, Monkstown followed thereafter by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6WHY98. Thérèse Broy
March 15, 2024

We extend our condolences to the family of Thérèse Broy who died  peacefully in the exceptional care of all the ICU staff in St. Vincent’s Hospital on March 15th. Thérèse, loving mother of David. Sadly missed by her son, brother Patrick daughter-in-law Sarah, grandchildren Charlie and Daisy, niece Vicky, nephews Conor and Simon, extended family and friends. Remembering also her late parents Patrick and Teresa, and sisters Ann (Dockrell) and Rosetta Broy.

Removal Thursday (March 21st) from Quinn’s of Glasthule to St Patrick’s Church, Monkstown arriving for 10 am Funeral Mass which can be viewed on the link below followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.  Family flowers only please.

Aidan Barry

We extend our condolences to the family of Aidan Barry who passed away peacefully on 3rd March in the kind care of all the staff of St John’s House Nursing Home, Merrion Road.  Aidan, beloved husband of the late Martina, loving father of Tony, Jacinta and Celine. Sadly missed by his children and their partners Paul and Matthew, brother-in-law Eddie, sister-in-law Agnes, his cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Remembering also his late sister Eithne and his wonderful Jazz pals both past and present.  Reposing Thursday (March 7th) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm to 6pm.
