This Sunday, April 21st is Good Shepherd Sunday (Vocations Sunday) when we pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.  This Sunday marks the close of the special Year of Prayer for Vocations to the Diocesan Priesthood – Take The Rick For Christ which commenced on Good Shepherd Sunday last year.  Mass for Vocations Sunday will be broadcast live on RTE ONE on Sunday morning @ 11 am.  The main celebrant and homilist will be Bishop Phonsie Cullinan, Bishop of Water ford and Lismore, who is also the Chair of the Irish Bishops’ Council for Vocations.
