Men and women from the parish are invited to serve as Ministers of the Word. They assist us by reading the Scripture at Mass on Sundays, weekdays and at special Masses. They are commissioned by the Parish Priest for a period of three years. Members attend an annual day of reflection to assist and encourage them in their ministry.

Typically each reader does the readings for a period of a month, twice a year, depending on availability. The coordinator for the Ministers of the Word is Myona Troddyn If you would like to volunteer to be a minister of the Word, contact Ann Acres in the parish office.
