We extend our condolences to the family of Ted Downey (Timothy Patrick) (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly Mashanglass, Macroom, Co. Cork) who passed away peacefully on 31st August 2024, in his 97th year, in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey.

Beloved husband of the late Carmel (Ryan), devoted Dad of John, Mary (Tuck), Elizabeth (Lorton) Deirdre and Tim, and brother to Kay (Healy). He will be sadly missed by his daughters, sons, sister, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, granddaughter-in-law, grandsons-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Ted’s Funeral Mass will be on Thursday (September 5th) at 10am here in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. For those that cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed online using this link: https://www.churchservices.tv/monkstown.
