The world day of prayer service takes place on Friday the 6th of March 2026 at 3 PM in Saint Philip and St. Jamess’ Church, Cross Avenue,  Booterstown. The theme of this year’s service, “I Will Give You Rest: Come” is based on Matthew 11: 28-13.

This year’s prayer has been prepared by the Christian women of Nigeria.  Our local service is a joint effort between the Church of Ireland, the Presbyterian, and the Roman Catholic churches in the Blackrock / Monkstown area.  Hospitality in the Parish Centre follows the service.
