It is with regret that we announce that our beautiful church will be closed for essential maintenance from Monday the 25th of May until  Friday the 24th of July.

A recent inspection identified urgent safety issues in the old wiring, and we will also take this opportunity to replace and upgrade the internal lighting.

The work requires floor‑to‑ceiling scaffolding to reach the high-level wiring and fittings. While the scaffolding is in place, we will also repaint the upper walls and ceiling.

This work will cost in the region of €100,000.  If parishioners wish to contribute to the cost of this work, please use the blue envelopes at the back of the church.
