Fun for all ages exploring our local seashore at Seapoint, Dublin. Learn about and observe local flora and fauna.
Explore the marine flora and fauna on your local seashore with Mona McCrea, Marine Biologist and Environmental Scientist. Put on your wellies and join other members of your community to discover the different marine habitats at Seapoint. You will be digging in the sand, searching on and under rocks and seaweed, and in rock pools. All with the aid of a scavenger hunt, bucket and net. This field trip is suitable for all ages from 5 years. Adults must accompany their children.
Meet at the concrete area to the West of the Martello tower.
To wear:
– Wellies (we will be wading through the water)
– Long trousers (no shorts please as the rocks are sharp and slippy)
– Waterproof jacket or Sun screen!
