Church Refurbishment Completed
Thank you for your patience and understanding over the past two months while the church was closed. The closure was necessary due to a serious health and safety issue that required a full rewiring and upgrade of our electrical infrastructure.

Church Electrical Upgrade and Painting – Work in Progress
The electrical work and repaitning of the central aisle and roof ceiling is well underway. The photo below will may help to provide some perspective on the scale of the work.
We look forward to the church being open again for the the weekend of July 25/26th.
Funeral Mass for Prof William (Bill) Coffey will be celebrated in Blackrock on Tuesday 23rd June at 10 am.
We extend our condolences to the family of Prof William (Bill) Coffey, retired Professor of Electrical Engineering and Senior Fellow Emeritus, Trinity College, Dublin, (Monkstown, Co. Dublin), who passed away peacefully in St. Vincent’s University Hospital on 15th June 2026.

Fr. Kevin Rowan, has been appointed to Kilbride –Barndarrig in Wicklow. Deacon Eric Cooney has been appointed Co-ordinator of Parish Administration in Monkstown.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF OUR CHURCH
It is with regret that we announce that our beautiful church will be closed for essential maintenance from Monday the 25th of May until Friday the 24th of July.

Revised Mass Times from 26th July
When the church reopens on Saturday 25 July, there will be one Sunday morning Mass at 10.30am. The Saturday Vigil Mass at 6.00pm will continue as usual.
