Mass Times and Current Restrictions

Christmas is a time when we have always seen our church full to capacity as many people like to attend Mass at Christmas.  This year due to Covid-19, we are restricted to allowing a maximum of 50 people to be in the church for mass.  The Bishops have suspended the obligation to attend mass and are encouraging people to view mass via the parish webcam or on television and to consider attending mass on any of the “twelve days” of Chritmastide.   Here in Monkstown we are adding two additional masses to the Chritmas schedule (see below).  We ask those of you who may arrive at the church, only to find it is already full, to be understanding.  We wish all of our parishioners a safe and happy Christmas and we pray that in the coming months the uptake of the vaccine will be successful.
